Lot consists of: (A) WWI medal, letter, and photo grouping ID'D to Clayton A. Hightower. The group consists of Hightower's framed medals including a Purple Heart and WWI Victory Medal along with several pieces of souvenir insignia. The frame measures 19" x 23 - 1/2". There is also a metal box that contains letters that were written by Clayton to his wife. There is a small photo album that mostly contains family and Homefront photos. There is other material including post cards, a small embroidery, and two "Service in France" books from Hightower's unit, Base Hospital Unit 21. CONDITION: Paper items display typical wear including tears, folds, and creases. Medals and insignia are in good condition. Overall fair-good. (B) Small medal group in a riker mount ID'D to Charles John Stenman. The mount mostly contains war service medals along with a photo of Stenman. CONDITION: Very good. (C) Riker mount with WWI Victory Medal and Marine Good Conduct Medal with card that states these medals are from John Arnel. The GCM is numbered and can be traced. CONDITION: Good. JD
