A gold Tiffany Studios damascene shade on gold dore three-arm base. The 7” diameter shade is comprised of golf favrile glass with very subtle iridescence. Near the aperture the glass is a rich honey gold, progressing to a lighter yellow gold as it moves down towards the lower rim. The shade is in near mint condition with no cracks, breaks, repairs, or visible chips to either the lower rim or fitter edge. The inside fitter edge is signed "L.C.T. Favrile".
The shade sits atop a bronze Tiffany Studios three-arm base. The base is finished in a rich gold dore, and has a single socket with period correct GECO paddle. The ribbed base is reminiscent of a tree trunk, terminating to a broad foot, which sits on eight small balls. The base stands 9 - 1/2” tall to the top of the socket, and is signed, "Tiffany Studios New York 606". Base is in excellent condition with no breaks, dents, bends, or visible repairs, with very minimal loss to the dore finish. The heat cap appears to be a later reproduction.
