Manufactured in 1941, this Colt Officers Model revolver features all blue finish, with brushed blue finish along the top of the frame and on the flat top strap. Mounted with checkered walnut Colt silver medallion grips. The 6" barrel features a partridge front sight and a windage adjustable rear sight. The left side of the barrel is marked "COLT OFFICERS MODEL .22 LONG RIFLE", with Colt's 2 line address across the top. The left side of the frame is stamped with the Rampant Colt logo. Trigger and backstrap are checkered. CONDITION: Metal components retain bountiful amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting few minor areas of wear. The right side of the frame exhibits a small area of loss to the finish, and the cylinder bears a light dragline. Mirror bore, with strong well defined rifling throughout. Checkered walnut grips exhibit some smoothing and minor handling marks from handling. An exemplary Colt Officers Model .22 Long Rifle revolver, that would be difficult for the discerning collector to upgrade from. -MLW-
