The full length octagon barrel has Birmingham English proofs on the left side of breech, the top flat is inscribed "Philadelphia". The lock is marked "Constable" in the center, lock has a roller frizzen. Brass mounts include a well-engraved trigger guard with a pineapple finial and floral engraving on the bow. Plain walnut stock. Original wooden ramrod with iron worm at tip. CONDITION: Barrel retains a pleasing mustard patina and markings are excellent. Lock appears to be in original flintlock configuration and markings are very good. Brass furniture retains a mustard patina. Stock very good with scattered storage marks. Ramrod is broken at tip and tip and tip is absent. A pleasing Philadelphia marked pistol. DMG
