This pistol is features a brass barrel with Birmingham English proofs and the top of the barrel engraved "NEW - YORK" in block letters. The lock has a rounded tail and is stamped "H. YOUNG / & Co." in the center, features a roller frizzen. Lock is retained by a single screw with a small brass washer. Brass furniture includes a pommel cap and an engraved triggerguard. Plain walnut stock. Complete with its original wooden ramrod. CONDITION: Brass barrel retains a pleasing dark mustard patina. Lock retains a spotted brown patina and has excellent markings and functions well, cock is a contemporary replacement. Stock shows some scattered marks from use and brass furniture is dark and unpolished. DMG
