This massive pistol measures about 18" overall with a round 12" smoothbore barrel with private British proofs on left side of breech. The lock is stamped "KONIGMACHER / PHILADELPHIA /WARRANTED" in the center and has a roller frizzen. The only furniture on the pistol is a crude iron trigger guard and a single plain iron ramrod ferrule. Stocked in figured maple. Ramrod is a replacement. CONDITION: Barrel has been cleaned and retains a pitted grey surface. Lock functions properly and appears to be original flint, retaining a freckled grey patina. Stock shows scattered nicks and marks from use. DMG
