Probably Pennsylvania, this pistol has a 2 stage barrel with an illegible signature on the top flat. The center of the lockplate is stamped "LONDON WARRANTED", pistol has a nice curled trigger. Brass furniture includes a diminutive trigger guard, a full sideplate, pommel cap, and a nosecap. There is a silver oval-shaped wrist escutcheon on top with vacant inscription. Stocked in plain maple. CONDITION: Lock and barrel have been cleaned and show an overall grey pitted surface. Lock functions properly and is its original flintlock configuration. Brass furniture has been cleaned and shows scatted marks, rear tang of trigger guard has a small piece missing. Ramrod ferrules are replacements and stock shows scattered pieces around lock and along forend that have been replaced. A Kentucky pistol with particularly attractive form. DMG
