Remington Model 03-A3 bolt action rifle. Made February 1943 with a proper 4 groove Remington,"RA/flaming bomb/2-43" marked barrel. Blade front sight, with an "R" marked sight base. "R" marked sling swivels, bolt, and magazine cutoff. Trigger guard is Remington production as well. Arsenal reapplied parkerized finish on the metal components. Oil finished straight grip wood stock with boxed "FJA" and faint "(Crossed Cannons)" stamp. Circled "P" on the wrist. Checkered metal butt plate with trap door. Includes attached unmarked, military style leather sling. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% or more of its reapplied arsenal finish with light handling marks. Wood is very good with minor handling marks and scratches. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
