Manufactured 1968. Serrated slope front sight, square notch rear sight. right side with Colt patent and address in one line, left with "COLT // SUPER .38 / AUTOMATIC" with Rampant Pony adjacent. "COLT SUPER .38 AUTO" on top of barrel chamber. Recoil spring guide with shock buff. Serrated short trigger, magazine release, safety, hammer, and arched mainspring housing. Checkered walnut grips with inset Colt medallions. Bushing fit is extremely tight and appears to be an aftermarket replacement. CONDITION: Excellent used condition with some markings from handling and operation. Retains the vast majority of finish with face of slide having a noticeable amount of loss from how tight the bushing is. Action works appropriately, bore is excellent, bright and shiny, with sharp lands and grooves. EW
