Manufactured in 1959. Colt single line address on top of the barrel. "Colt Buntline Special .45" on the left side of the barrel and BB 3155 on the bottom of the barrel. Patent dates and rampant Colt on left side of frame. The numbers all match on the frame, inside the grip strap and on the inside of the trigger guard. There is a rampant Colt on the rear of the cylinder. CONDITION: The gun retains approximately 99% of the reapplied nickel finish. Two piece eagle grips are excellent with virtually no wear. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. On page 40 of the book "COLT'S SAA POST WAR MODELS" it states that only 27 of these guns were nickel plated that year.
