L.C. Smith "Ideal" Grade made by the L.C. Smith Gun Company in Fulton, New York. Late gun made in 1950. Rare gun with factory marked 3" chambered blued London Steel barrels with matted high rib sighting plain and twin bead sight. Case hardened featherweight receiver with "Ideal" Grade floral engraving, double triggers, extractors, and automatic safety. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with rubber recoil pad. Checkered walnut beavertail forearm with roller latch. Comes with Abercrombie and Fitch leather covered case with A&F marked oil bottle and wooden cleaning rod. CONDITION: 80% original blue with 60% original case colors. 60% original varnish with light handling marks. Added pad. Excellent bores and mechanics. Case like new. PROVENANCE: From the Carl Balderson Jr. Estate Collection. DLM
