Lot consists of (A) Manufactured in the late 1880's the Japanese Murata Single shot was the first Japanese manufactured military rifle. Chambered for the 11x60R cartridge with a 32" barrel with adjustable rear sights and sabre bayonet attachment. CONDITION: Fair as exterior is mottled brown patina with corrosion. Non-matching bolt has stock that fits poorly at tang and is possible replacement. Bore is dark. Markings are legible. (B) Dutch 1875 dated Beaumont Vitalli repeating rifle. CONDITION: Fair with metal being a mottled patina and bright finish. Stock is solid with strong cartouche. Bore is very fine and action operates properly. Missing wiping rod.
