Lot consists of: (A) Browning Safari Grade Hi-Power bolt action rifle. Made 1969 in Belgium. Round, steel barrel with factory hooded front blade sight and flip-up U-notch rear. Polished blued finish on the metal components, minus the bolt which is correctly polished. Light scroll engraving on the trigger guard. Gloss finished wood stock with checkering on the forearm and wrist. "BROWNING" marked rubber buttpad. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its factory finish with a splotch of surface rust on the left side of the barrel. Stock has heavy finish wear on the right side of the butt, and on the left side of the action area. Bore is sharp with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. (B) Tikka M658 bolt action rifle. Made circa 1990 in Finland and imported by Stoeger (marked under the barrel). Detachable magazine fed rifle. Round, steel barrel with no factory iron sights. Receiver is grooved for scope rings. Blued finish on the metal components. Smooth finish wood stock with checkering on the forearm and wrist. "TIKKA" marked rubber buttpad. Sling studs present with swivels. Factory hang tag still attached! CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with some blemishes on the receiver and on the bolt. Wood is excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically operable but the safety appears to be not engaging in safe, will need work. Magazine is excellent. Hang tags with a few rips and tears. JWA
