Parker Brothers "DHE" Grade side by side shotgun made by Parker Brothers, Meriden, Connecticut in 1924. Blued Titanic steel barrels with matted rib, twin bead sights, and ejectors. Case hardened engraved No. 2 frame with typical dog and bird animal scenes, and vignette full-coverage engraving. Gun has double triggers and automatic safety. Figured walnut checkered pistol grip stock with Parker logo grip cap and added period Hawkins vented recoil pad. Walnut checkered splinter forearm with latch release. CONDITION: 85% original barrel blue with some small nicks and dings. Solder has started to come out between barrels but barrels have good ring to them. Barrels have possibly had chokes opened up to Improved Cylinder and Improved Cylinder (gun does not appear in Parker serial number book). Wood has had a coat of added finish with the addition of a recoil pad which looks to be period. Screws are in time but have been turned. Good bores and mechanics. DLM
