Half-moon front sight, U-notch rear sight, rear cocking serrations, and internal subinspectors markings on slide. A heavy refinish has obliterated any possible slide legends. Barrel with "COLT 45 AUTO" on left side of breech and "G" proof in front of lug. Checkered small parts, including spurred hammer, thin tab safety, short 1911 grip safety, short milled trigger, arched checkered mainspring housing with lanyard loop. Heart-shaped lightening cuts. Right grip scales is a Keyes fiber grip (top screw doesn't catch quite right in bushing, may be stripped), left is a later production fiber grip that has been altered to fit. Full blue dual pinned base magazine. CONDITION: Very good as completely refinished and gently used since refinishing. Reparkerization is thick and only visible legends left are serial number on right side of frame. Softened edges. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is very good with some frosting in grooves. Some silvering to operational areas. EW
