Lot consists of: (A) Springfield Model 1903 bolt action magazine rifle made by Remington in 1942. High Standard marked barrel dated "12-44" with correct front sight and graduated rear sight. "R" marked swept back bolt with blackened finish action with Remington style stamped trigger guard. Walnut "C" style stock with correct Remington furniture. Walnut high hump top wood. Comes with CMP paper. CONDITION: 80% original arsenal finish with cleaned stock still dripping with cosmoline. Good bore and mechanics. (B) Smith-Corona Model 03-A3 bolt action magazine rifle made in 1944. "SC" marked barrel with flaming bomb and dated "8-43". Correct sights with parkerized action with correct unmarked bolt. Walnut "S" style stock with grooveless forestock marked with "P" in circle and "RIA" rebuild mark. Remington stamped trigger guard with Remington style buttplate. Comes with CMP paper. CONDITION: 70% original arsenal finish with oil-soaked stock dripping with cosmoline. Heavy usage marks and dings with shootable bore and good mechanics. DLM
