Lot consists of: (A) Type "I" Carcano rifle made for the Japanese Navy in Italy between 1938 and 1939. Blued, round, military, rifled barrel with banded blade front sight and graduated rear sight. Blued action with straight handled bolt marked "PB" indicating manufacture by Beretta. Full military pieced stock with correct hardware and original ramrod. CONDITION: Overall fair with no visible import marks and usual combat and usage dings and marks. Shootable bore with good mechanics. (B) Same as Item A with unknown marking on bolt. Missing cleaning rod. CONDITION: Overall good with traces of original finish. Good bore and mechanics. No Japanese World War II rifle collection is complete without these rifles. DLM
