Jamestown Furniture Co., NY, (attribution) Arts and crafts rocker with great cutouts and hard leather seat. The overall design is very attractive, and slightly reminiscent of Charles Rohlfs' work. Appears to be oak. Very heavily overcoated finish with visible drips. Replaced hard leather seat with brass upholstery tacks. There are a total of 5 tacks either missing, or replaced. Some looseness to seat frame. Overall, this rocker is complete, and a good example of this rare and unusual form. Unmarked. Extreme measurements: 27.5"w x 32"d x 40"h . Seat measurements: 20"w x 19"d x 14"h.
