Made with a Damascus shotgun barrel and steel rifle barrel on relatively straight matte rib with bead front sight and two leaf rear sight with one standing and one folding leaf. Sling swivel on soldered on base on underside of rib, German proofs on barrel flats and underside of barrel tubes. Diminutive splinter forearm with point pattern checkering and Deely style latch release, very slightly Schnabel tipped. Engraved on exterior iron and latch in German florals and geometrics. Greener crossbolt with back action Peninsula hammer locks. Cocks are well filed and shaped. Action is engraved with zoomorphics and geometrics, fences are slightly raised. Double triggers, front set for rifle fire. Prince of Wales style pistol grip with point and wave checkering. Sharply protruding but somewhat small cheekpiece. Rather plain steel buttplate with some light engraving at heel. Sling swivel on toe line. Housed in a generic black plastic case. CONDITION: Very good, shotgun barrel with plenty of visible pattern but some light age patina throughout. Forearm is very good, latch a little loose, with some handling marks throughout and one extremely minor chip on left side. Action is very good with case coloring falshes visible on action flats, balance having faded to an even dove grey. Engraving is crisp. Stock is very good with some bumps and bruises throughout and one good-sized ding on right side of pistol grip in checkering. Action works appropriately, although set trigger needs adjustment, bores are very good with some evidence of use. EW
