Serial number "659" first year production Ruger Model 77 bolt action rifle with early style flat bolt and top tang safety. Made by Sturm Ruger Company in 1968. Blued sightless tapered round rifled barrel with "Sturm Ruger & Co Southport, Conn. USA" address. Blued action with flat bolt and tang safety marked "Ruger M77" with lightweight blackened floorplate. Action has scope mounts with Ruger factory rings. Walnut checkered 1 piece pistol grip stock with Ruger grip cap and Ruger "Red Solid Pad" with quick detachable sling bases. CONDITION: 90% blue with some small pits near address. 80% varnish with some flaking and some handling marks and dings. Great gun with some storage wear and some small handling wear. Good bore and mechanics. DLM
