Winchester Model 70 Pre-64 standard weight rifle in "30 Govt 06" made by Winchester Repeating Arms in 1949. Blued Winchester Proof Steel barrel with hooded ramp front sight and 22G rear sight with barrel marked with Winchester address and "Winchester Model 70 30 Govt 06". Blackened finished action with correct drilled scope mounting holes and matching electropenciled serial numbered solid handle bolt. Blued steel detachable floorplate. Walnut low comb checkered pistol grip stock with correct sling swivel bows and steel checkered "Widow's Peak" buttplate. CONDITION: 80% blue with carry and handling wear. 80% original varnish with some scrapes and handling dings. Good bore with good mechanics. DLM
