Ithaca "5E" Grade single barrel trap shotgun known as the "Knick" after its creator Frank Knickerbocker. Built by the Ithaca Gun Company of Ithaca, New York in 1928. Blued steel barrel with wide profile matted full ventilated rib, bead mid and front sights, and ejector. Case hardened floral engraved receiver with silver woodcock on right side and silver pheasant on the left and Ithaca Address on bottom of frame. Checkered single trigger with no safety. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with fleur-de-lis pattern checkered grip and side panels. Buttstock has added solid rubber recoil pad with spacer. Walnut checkered beavertail forearm with ebony inlay and latch release. CONDITION: 80% fading original barrel blue with trigger guard blue worn silver on handling area. 70% plus case colors with action screws out of time. 80% plus original varnish with light handling marks and dings.
