Circa 1955. A vintage sporting gun with extra barrels and tubes. The gun built with both (A) 30" and (B) 26 - 1/2" blued barrels. The 30" barrels have ejectors and a ventilated machined matte rib with white mid bead sight and red front sight. Choke designation is "*", "*-" which is on left just beneath ejector arm. Top side of left barrel reads "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY_ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI" "SPECIAL STEEL -12 GA .-SHELLS 2 3/4". Left side of bottom barrel reads with serial number "45286" over "1". Right barrel at top reads "PATENTS Nr 2.203.378-2.233.861", "MADE IN BELGIUM". Barrels on 1 piece forearm with strong original checkering. The second set of barrels being 26 - 1/2" are built in the similar configuration, choke designations of "** S with - through "S" for top and bottom barrel. Bottom barrel stamped "45286" with "2" under serial number. These barrels are not fitted with ejectors. Three sets of sub-gauge (20, 28, and .410 gauge) full length tubes (for 26 - 1/2" barrels) by Multi Gauge Enterprises. Boxlock, shiny silver colored receiver with standard engraving is non-auto safe and with barrel selector. The gold colored single inertia trigger is fitted with a serrated trigger shoe. Trigger guard with slightly worn engraving. Older dark honey colored walnut stock with round knob checkered pistol grip, 3/4 length bottom tang with light engraving and brown ventilated "Pachmyer" white line pad. Gun, second set of barrels, and tubes live in a Brady styled brown leather luggage case with instructions for tubes, hammer, and 26 - 1/2" ejector parts. CONDITION: Good. (A) barrels with handling marks and wear at muzzle. (B) with some wear and handling. Action is works well with both of sets of barrels. (A) set of barrel ejectors are timed well. Stock in good condition with signs of use. Forends on both are good with signs of use. Overall good. CP.
