August Francotte "14E" Grade made by A. Francotte in Liege, Belgium and imported by Von Lengerke & Detmold between 1900 and 1929. Blued "SIEMENS MARTIN" steel barrels with matted rib, twin bead sights, and gold rib joint. Barrels marked with "V,L,&D" logo and "U.S. Agents New York". Fine tight vignette engraved case hardened boxlock action with sideclips and Greener style crossbolts. Gun has double triggers and non-automatic safety. French walnut English grip style stock with fine checkered scalloped side panels and extra fine grip checkering and added red rubber Decelerator pad. Walnut fine full-coverage checkered splinter forearm with push-button release. CONDITION: 90% fading barrel blue with light handling marks. 50% fading case colors with sharp engraving. 70% varnish with light handling marks. Good bores with good mechanics and tight lock up. DLM
