Base is in excellent condition, finished in a rich brown patina. The finish is even throughout, with no significant loss. The base is impressed "Tiffany Studios New York 553". No dents, cracks or deformities to the bronze. Heat cap appears to be original. It is documented and photographed in "Tiffany Lamps and Metalware, New Edition Fully Revised and Extended: An Illustrated Reference to Over 2000 Models", ACC Art Books, page 126, figure 488.
