Depressed bead front sight on smooth slightly concave rib, engraved "LONDON FINE DAMASCUS" with simple floral and geometrics at breech. Splinter forend with Deely style latch release checkered in point pattern. Sidelocks with engraving scenes of quail and scroll, with maker's name in a ribbon. Double triggers. Belgian style pistol grip. No firing pins. CONDITION: Very good, with attractive visible Damascus patterning visible on the barrels, with one good ping over left breech. Wood is very good with normal handling and wear marks throughout but no cracks. Locks are very good with visible engraving, somewhat softened. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, although no firing pins are present. Bores are very good. These kinds of shotguns were very popular with stage coach drivers, bartenders, and anyone else who needed an enormous amount of firepower in a small package. EW
