Model 1874 style Sharps rifle made in Italy by "IAB MARCHENO" and imported to the United States by "SILE New York, New York" and marketed by the "U.S. Sharps Rifle Co., Meriden, Connecticut". Blued round rifled barrel with integral dovetail based brass beaded front blade type sight. Barrel marked at rear with maker and importer logos and has rear flip dovetailed notch type sight. Case hardened cartridge action with original style Sharp's Patent markings and single trigger control. Rear tang Vernier style sight. Walnut checkered stock with case hardened steel butt plate. Walnut checkered forearm. CONDITION: 90% plus blue with some light handling marks. 90% plus vivid case colors with unmolested screws. 90% original varnish with light handling marks. Excellent bore and mechanics. DLM
