1905 vintage Colt Single Action Army revolver, serial number 266720. 5 - 1/2" barrel chambered in .38 Winchester Centerfire (.38-40 WCF) with single line barrel address and standard SAA front sight that has been non-factory filed and shaped from its original pointed half moon shape. Action has been modified for cowboy action shooting. 2 piece replacement checkered gutta percha Colt factory grips with Rampant Colt in oval on either side. CONDITION: Very good with barrel having finish added. Frame is mostly a dull gray with traces of case color in protected areas. Grips are ill fitting, and show long-term evidence of use and a chip on the left grip panel near bottom of backstrap, but are strong with no visible cracks. Modified action for cowboy action shooting is smooth and works correctly. Bore is mostly bright with moderate abrasion and visible rifling. An American classic that would be a great shooter. TON
