Manufactured in 1878. This was Colt's first double action revolver. Nickel model with 1/2" half moon front sight. 2 piece checkered hard rubber grips. Etched panel with 2 line address on top of the barrel and a 3 line patent on the left side of the frame. Gun works in both single and double action. CONDITION: Gun retains approximately 90% of the factory nickel plating. Sharp checkering on the grips with a few handling marks. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. Some slight scattered pitting on the end of the barrel. REW
