Lot consists of: (A) First year of production Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle, serial number 2892. 26" octagon barrel chambered in .32-40 Winchester Centerfire with full length magazine tube, standard rear sight and blade front. 2 piece plain walnut stock and forearm complete with rifle forearm cap and rifle buttplate. CONDITION: Fair, with almost all of the original bluing turned to a heavy brown patina with numerous dents and dings throughout. Stock and forearm are good with heavy handling marks throughout and a slight crack forming on wrist near upper tang. Action works correctly but is well worn. Bore is dark with visible rifling. (B) 1918 vintage Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle, serial number 827006. 26" octagon barrel chambered in .30 Winchester Centerfire (.30-30 WCF) with full length magazine tube, rifle rear sight, and blade front. 2 piece plain walnut stock and forearm complete with rifle forearm cap and rifle buttplate. CONDITION: Very good, with barrel retaining a majority of its original blued finish. Receiver assembly is mostly a spotty brown patina with traces of original bluing peeking through. Stock and forearm are very good with some heavy handling marks, mostly on forearm but appears to be strong with no signs of major distress. Forearm has been lightly sanded. Action works correctly when cycled by hand and is tight. Bore has some darkness in the grooves with strong rifling. TON
