1928 vintage Colt Single Action Army revolver, serial number 351683. 7 - 1/2" barrel chambered in .38 Colt with single line barrel address and standard SAA front sight. Matching serial numbers observed on frame, trigger guard, and backstrap underneath the grips, and last 2 digits of serial number (83) observed on rear face of cylinder. 2 piece checkered gutta percha grips with Rampant Colt in oval on either side. CONDITION: Very good, with about 80% of the original bluing remaining overall on blued assemblies. Finish loss at left side of barrel, muzzle, and rear of backstrap as well as high edge wear and several light handling marks. Screws are slightly marred but are in serviceable condition. Frame is mostly a dull gray with bright case colors in protected areas. Gutta percha grips are very good with checkering slightly worn but no visible signs of major distress. Grips are proud near front strap and at bottom of grip and are replacements. Action works correctly and is tight. Bore is bright with modest abrasion and sharp rifling. TON
