Lot consists of: (A) Unmarked single shot massive 10 gauge exposed hammer shotgun similar to guns made by Stevens, Harrington and Richardson, and others around the turn of the 20th century. Gun is unmarked and possibly made for market hunting with heavy twist steel smoothbore barrel with bead front sight with extractor. Unmarked takedown case hardened frame with exposed hammer and top opening lever. Walnut checkered round knob pistol grip stock with hard rubber buttplate. Walnut schnabel forearm with painted tip. CONDITION: Traces of barrel finish with most fading to a plum brown color. Action has faded to plum. Stock has added varnish with handling dings and marks. Pitted bore with functioning mechanics. (B) Ithaca "Minier" Grade 4E model double shotgun made in 1906 with the "Minier" model only being made from 1906 to 1908. Damascus steel barrels with matted rib and brass front bead with ejectors. Case hardened frame with dog and floral engraving, double triggers, and automatic safety. Walnut fleur de Lis pattern checkered pistol grip stock with added soft rubber recoil pad. Walnut plain splinter forearm with black ebony inlay and push button release. CONDITION: 60% remaining original Damascus scene. Receiver cleaned to a silver patina. Wood has been cleaned with forend replaced. Good bores with sluggish opening lever and tight lockup. Would make an excellent restoration project. DLM
