Lot consists of (A) Crudely manufactured pistol of continental origin. Turnoff barrels with patent breeches. Proofed on barrel and frame with "29" matching on barrel and frame. Walnut bag grip. Clamshell motif crudely incised in grip. CONDITION: Good. Subjected to a European style cleaning with old spotting visible. Wood with numerous bumps and bruises. Action works appropriately, bore is very good with a minimum of pitting. (B) Belgian proofed double barrel pistol with double triggers, frame engraved with scroll. CONDITION: Good. Barrels and action have acquired an even age patina on metal. Grip is very good with some shrinkage away from action. Action needs work as the hammers occasionally do not catch. Bores are good. (C) French flintlock pistol with turnoff barrel and marked on boxlock action for manufacture by Aubron. Darkwood grip with checkered panels. Silver wire inlay at spine and lightly incised initials "WL" behind folding trigger. CONDITION: Very good with an old cleaning over old oxidation leaving some spotting. One side panel has a long crack. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is very good. A neat trio of pistols. EW
