Lot consists of: (A) Remington Model 1858 Army percussion revolver, serial number 97879. 8" octagon barrel in .44 caliber with screw in front sight and frame notch rear. 2 piece walnut grips. CONDITION: Good below, with heavy pitting throughout. Both barrel address and serial number on bottom flat of barrel are illegible. Grips show heavy wear and the left grip screw bushing moves freely with grip screw. Action works appropriately. Bore has moderate to heavy abrasion toward muzzle but visible rifling. (B) Whitney Navy percussion revolver, serial number 23944A. 7 - 1/2" octagon barrel in .36 caliber with post front sight and frame notch rear. 2 piece walnut grips. CONDITION: Good below, with heavy pitting throughout. Visible markings include E. Whitney barrel address and only visible serial number on rammer. Grips show shrinkage and heavy wear. Action functions correctly with excessive endshake. Bore is dark with visible rifling. TON
