Browning Model 71 lever action rifle. Made in Japan by Miroku for Browning Arms circa late 1980s. Round, blued steel barrel with hooded blade front sight and buckhorn rear. Polished frame with scroll engravings and gold inlay game scenes on both sides. Signed "T. NAKA" on the bottom left side of the frame. Gloss finished wood stocks with checkering on the wrist and forearm. Checkered metal butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish with a few handling marks. Wood has some scratches and handling marks on the butt. Bore is sharp with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
