Pre-ban unfired Chinese Polytech AKS-223 semi automatic rifle with box. Made circa late 1980s in China and imported by Keng's Firearm Specialties of Atlanta, Georgia. Left side of the receiver marked "MOD.AKS-223/CAL. 5.56x45MM/SEMI AUTO". "Made in China" sticker still attached to the left side of the receiver. Matching serials on the receiver, dust cover, recoil spring, bolt and carrier. Hooded, post front sight with rear sight adjustable to 800 meters. Blued finish on the metal components. Oil finished wood stocks with sling swivel. Includes original hand numbered box, sling, buttstock cleaning kit, oil bottle, under folding spike bayonet, and three magazines. Of note, two of the magazines are Chinese 7.62x39 magazines, while only one is the correct Polytech 5.56x45 magazine. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish with only a few minor handling marks and scratches. Wood is excellent as well. Clean bore with crisp rifling. Accessories are all excellent, with most new in wrap. Box has some light edge wear. JWA
