Lot consists of (A) Smith & Wesson Model 459 semi automatic pistol chambered for 9mm. High ramped front and fully adjustable square notch rear sights. Blued slide and anodized aluminum frame with checkered nylon S&W grip panels. Complete with numbers matching single piece blue box, factory paperwork, and an extra factory 14 round magazine. CONDITION: Excellent. Little evidence of use with only a few scattered handling marks. Bright mirror bore with strong rifling. Fine mechanics. Box shows wear, especially at corners. (B) Smith & Wesson Model 559 semi automatic pistol, a relatively scarce all steel variant of the 459 chambered in 9mm. High ramped front and fully adjustable square notch rear sights. Blued slide and frame with checkered nylon S&W grip panels. CONDITION: Good. Retains majority of the factory blued finish with high edge wear, muzzle wear and some cleaned corrosion on the right side of slide. Aluminum backstrap shows some abrasion above and on lanyard loop. Bright bore with strong rifling. Fine mechanics. BAS
