Classic configuration with large half moon front sight and notch rear sight on top strap. Normal S&W rollmarks throughout with added British crossed flags just ahead of forcing cone, and and "(Broad Arrow) / (Crown) / F7 / E / II" on frame. Checkered walnut grips with S&W medallion. Cylinder has been trimmed to fit .45 ACP on moon clips. CONDITION: Good, retaining much of the S&W blue finish with several areas of silvering and patina consistent with wartime use. Frame has a few areas of oxidation; hammer and trigger appear to have been cleaned over old oxidation. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, lock up is tight, bore is very good with strong rifling and frosting throughout. EW
