M.11 Luger manufactured by DWM under contract for the Netherlands in 1927. These Lugers were delivered in 1928 and fall within the 10100-14100 serial number range. The receiver is marked with a crown over "N" proof on the left-hand side, followed by the last two digits of the serial number. Chamber area is blank with the right side of the receiver being marked "KL". Crown over "N" proofs are also present on the bottom of the barrel and left side of the breechblock. Safety is marked "RUST", with the extractor being marked "GELADEN" on both sides. Left side of frame does not bear a Dutch data plate, nor has any indication of one having been applied. All numbers are matching, with the exception of the magazine, which is mismatched. CONDITION: Metal components retain the majority of their arsenal reapplied blue finish, exhibiting a few minor areas of wear, as well as some scattered areas of pitting and some light oxidation. Strawed components retain traces of their finish and exhibit age-related discoloration all around. Bore is bright, exhibiting some areas of light oxidation and retaining good rifling throughout. Checkered walnut grips exhibit smoothing all around, with scattered nicks and impressions. A nice example of a Dutch M.11 Luger. -MLW-
