Brass barrel with British proofs on left side of breech with "LONDON" engraved over breech. Punched dots in a band over breech. Ramrod retained by a single reinforced ferrule. Brass furniture with simple geometric decorations throughout. Flintlock stamped "A W SPIES" slightly askew with simple florals. Swan neck cock is filed and engraved en suite. CONDITION: Very good. Brass has a nice undisturbed deep mustard patina, reinforcement at ramrod mouth has a small chip. Wood with some normal handling marks and is a touch dry. Action works appropriately when operated by hand; bore is very good. EW
