A beautiful and custom game gun with 30" blued steel barrels with 3" chambers. This elegant game gun's monobloc barrels have been fitted with ejectors, slightly raised, narrow tapered and matted rib with round brass front bead sight. The bottom of the barrels are stamped "IMPORTED BY DOUBLE GUNS OF NASHVILLE, TN." Barrel flats stamped with guns serial number "9409" and with appropriate proof. Fixed chokes of "Improved Modified and Modified". The handsome guns boxlock silvery grey sideplated action is adorned with full coverage custom engraving of scroll and flower bouquets. In ribbon reads "L'ATELIER VERNEY CARRON" on both left and right plates. Action bottom with matched engraving reads "DOUBLE GUNS OF NASHVILLE, TN." with logo above. Engraving by "Gontel" which is engraved on trigger plate alongside the trigger guard. Top lever with matching engraving and checkered thumbpiece. The non-auto safe thumb slide has been built with barrel selector. This fine guns single mechanical trigger is protected by a partially scroll engraved double rolled edged trigger guard which nicely extends itself through the guns long bottom strap. Bottom strap is decorated with matched scroll engraving and "SL 9409", specifying the gun being custom and its serial number. The handsomely marbled European walnut medium honey-colored stock is fitted with drop points, finely checkered panels, Prince of Wales grip, engraved steel grip cap, and a Silvers style orange pad with black spacer. The gun's slender game forend with matching checkered panels is furnished with Boss & Co. styled steel engraved top wings, engraved forend latch release, and matching engraved iron metal. The lovely gun resides in a brown leather makers case with red interior and oval leather case makers label. CONDITION: New. Barrels retain all of their original blue. Action is sound, ejectors strong and timed well, and trigger is crisp. Stock and forend as new. Great gun! CP
