A one-of-a-kind 12 bore engraved by world-renown Master Engraver Hendrik Fruhauf. This special exhibition grade gun was showcased at the 2019 IWA show and was specially built with exquisite engraving and specification. The 32" monobloc barrels are fitted with the extended "KTC" (Krieghoff Titanium Choke) system, front, middle barrel hangers, ramped, tapered channel rib which has a round steel mid bead and a white front sight bead. Top barrel bares Krieghoffs safety instructions while bottom barrels reads "KRIEGHOFF INT., OTTSVILLE, PA". Both barrels are stamped at rear left with the appropriate markings for gauge, bore diameter, and chamber length. The guns deluxe Turkish walnut stock with smoky marbling features an adjustable comb, pistol handgrip with sharp checkering, and right-hand palm swell. The Schnabel forend has matched checkering, a Deeley styled latch release, pins and forend metal, all of which are scroll engraved and with gold inlay borders. Bottom of forend iron also reads "K-80" in gold inlay. This 2019 Krieghoff Gun of the Year, "Abraham Lincoln Gun" has been engraved detailing some of the life and legacy of the US nation’s 16th president. Master engraver Fruhuaf dedicated approximately 350 plus bench hours into engraving this magnificent gun. The guns boxlock action is intricately and deeply engraved depicting President Lincoln's eloquent, famously known speech with the words "Four Score & Seven Years Ago" on the left side of the Lincoln gun’s receiver. Ahead of the guns top the lever is a bust of the President, reminiscent of what is on the US five-dollar bill. The bottom of the receiver shows an incredibly detailed rendering of the Lincoln Monument Memorial in Washington D.C. which makes a striking visual when the gun is standing in its rack. The trigger guard protecting the guns custom golden adjustable single mechanical selective trigger is tastefully adorned with scrollwork and also features gold inlay the dates 1809-1865, the years spanning Lincoln’s life. This remarkable gun lives and travels in a custom brown plastic/leather Krieghoff travel case. Case is accompanied by extra chokes, spare parts, tools, manual, owner registration, and warranty card. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrels retain 99% original blue. Bores are shiny bright. Action is tight, sound and ejectors are timed well. Trigger is crisp. Stock very good with indication of small, but few storage blemishes. Forend very good. Incredible gun! CP
