Circa 2009. A 28" barreled game gun with 2 - 3/4" chambers, ejectors, matte tapered concave rib, third fastener, and round front brass bead sight. Barrels have fixed chokes of Improved Modified and Improved Cylinder. Left barrels reads "KRIEGHOFF" "Made in Germany". Bottom of left barrel reads "Krieghoff Int., Ottsville, PA". Bottom of right barrel stamped with date stamp, gauge, and chamber length. Barrel flats with appropriate markings from German proof house. The very nicely case colored sidelock rounded action has gold cocking indicators, disk set strikers, concealed third fastener, gold washed double triggers - front being articulated and is auto safe "S" in gold. The double triggers with front articulated are protected by a blacked double rolled edged trigger guard which extends to a long bottom strap. Bottom of action is gold inlaid with model name "ESSENCIA". The reddish-brown European walnut stock has nice smoky marbling, English straight hand grip, fine diamond grip checkering, gold oval with the initials of "BWR", and a case colored skeleton buttplate over a matching fine checkered butt. This nice little gun's forend has matching fine checkering, case colored forend metal and an Anson styled push-button release. Gun travels in a Krieghoff plastic travel case with some extra parts (springs, screws, wrench, etc...). CONDITION: Very good. Barrels retain 90% original blue and are good with some signs of usage. Action is good. Ejectors and triggers are both good. Stock and forend both show some signs of use. Case in good condition. Good little game gun. CP
