A nice 20 bore game gun built in 2018 with 30" barrels. Barrels are demi-bloc with 3" chambers, Boss-styled ejectors, narrow tapered crosshatch matte game rib with round brass front bead sight. Top barrel on right reads "GARDONE V.T. ITALY". Left side of top barrel reads "GIULIO BERNARDELLI" both in gold script. Top left-hand side of barrel reads "15.9" and bottom reads "KG1.390 15.9" both baring crest with star above. Barrel flat reads "Cal 20/76" "0107" "MADE IN ITALY" with appropriate Italian proof marks. Barrel wings engraved with light scroll and top barrel with gold line at breech. Chokes are fixed at IMPROVED MODIFIED and IMPROVED MODIFIED. The coin finished pinless sidelock was scroll engraved (HOLLAND & HOLLAND ROYAL STYLE) by L. BERTELLA in 2018, which is engraved on the right-hand side of the gun's trigger plate. Left side of the trigger plate reads "MADE IN ITALY". The action is built with gold cocking indicators, single inertia trigger, non-auto safe slide push mechanism with "S" in gold. The right hand rolled trigger guard extends through a bottom tang and both are engraved in the same fashion along with the guns top lever and top tang. Top lever with checkered thumb. The handsome and fiery smoked brown European walnut stock has been built with a semi-pistol grip with fine checkering and the buttstock has matching checkering. This nicely configured game gun has also been adorned with Boss-style side rib iron metal on its forend. The Anson-styled push-button release is checkered; escutcheon and pin with matching engraving. Forend also bares the maker's gold lined shield with "GB" in gold and a golden woodcock. This handsome gun travels in a leather maker's case with paper trade label on inner lid, round brass initial plate on outer lid, pair of nickel-plated snap caps, nickel-plated square oil bottle, three-piece wooden cleaning rod, mop, jag, brush, chamber brush and canvas outer cover. CONDITION: Very Fine. Barrels retain 98 percent original blue with some very minor handling marks. There is a slight bit of oxidation between barrel and top rib approximately two inches back from muzzle. Bores are bright. Action is sound, ejectors are well-timed and trigger is crisp. Stock and forend are both in very good condition with minor handling or storage marks. Very nice gun. CP
