30" monobloc barrels with solid file cut ribs and brass bead front sight. "GIULIO BERNADELLI" and "GARDONE VT. ITALY" inlaid in gold over breeches. Import marked under bottom barrel for Double Guns out of Nashville. Appropriate Italian proofs for 20 gauge, 3" barrels, and date coded CS for 2017. Forearm with recessed Anson style push-button release. Forearm iron extends up and forward somewhat more so than normal, and the exterior iron and release escutcheon with central teardrop escutcheon with well-cut shaded scroll and florals. Heraldic crest near exterior iron with Bernadelli logo. Pinless sidelock, tangs, and trigger guard are engraved by L. Bertella in a well-cut and spaced scroll with florals accented by crosshatch shading and stippled ground. Right side rolled trigger guard with single non-selective trigger. Pistol grip with point pattern checkering at the grip. Well streaked and very lightly fiddlebacked stock terminates with a black line spacer and black rubber recoil pad. Housed in a leather Emmebi case with paper trade label in lid and blue lining. CONDITION: Excellent, showing only a few very minor marks scattered about from handling and operation, likely shop wear. Barrels retain the vast majority of their blue, with just a few very minor marks. Barrels behind the bloc are a purplish hue. Forearm has a couple of minor marks, likely shop wear. Receiver is excellent with well cut crisp engraving. Stock is very good, with just a few minor marks. Bores are excellent, showing little evidence of use, possibly proof only. Action works appropriately except for top ejector which does not fire. EW
