A modern production piece of a classic and traditional big game caliber built on a Mauser 98 bolt action. The banded and ramped island front sight with steel-tipped bead front sight are built onto this blacked 24 - 1/2" barrel. The barrel is also fitted with a silver express line rear sight with single standing leaf and two folding leaves marked for 100 and 150 yards. A mid barrel band is with sling swivel. Barrel shank with original Mauser logo laser etched on right side, just at the stock line. The German proofs for Ulm proofing date to 2016. Double square bridge action fixed for "swing" scope mount system. The rifle is adequately fitted with double reinforcement bars for superior strength. A three-position wing safe has an "S" in white and "F" in red. Pistol grip stock of a well figured and lightly flamed European walnut, with press checkering, bares a blacked steel cap with Mauser logo. Floorplate is blacked steel. The bolt handle is in a polished steel color. The rifle is accompanied by a black travel hard case. Import marked for Mauser at ejection port. CONDITION: Excellent, new. Showing only a few very minor marks from possible handling or storage. Action operates smoothly. Rifling is excellent. Case is good. CP
