Circa 2016. A very nice top-of-the-line Spanish game gun built with 30" chopper lump barrels. Blacked steel barrels with 3" chambers, ejectors, smooth swamp concaved game rib and round brass front bead sight. Top of right barrel reads "GRULLA ARMAS SL EIBAR SPAIN". Top of left barrel is engraved with importer "DOUBLE GUNS OF NASVILLE CHATTONAGA, TN 206A 3". Jeweled barrel flats are stamped with appropriate Spanish proof marks. Barrels are choked Improved Modified and Improved Cylinder with excellent bright bores. The Holland & Holland styled self-opening seven pinned rounded frame with cocking indicator action is adorned with an old-style silvered finish and is fully covered with Churchill style engraving. Sidelock plates engraved with "GRULLA ARMAS" in banner. Long bottom strap engraved with model "ROYAL" in script. The right-hand fully engraved rolled edge trigger guard protects the gun's double triggers - front being articulated. The non-auto safe action with "SAFE" in gold also has disk set strikers and gas escapes. The deep caramel and nicely figured European walnut stock has a finely checkered English straight hand grip, gold oval initial plate, and a checkered butt. A matching splinter forend has matching engraving on forend metal and Anson-style release. This nice gun is housed in a green canvas-covered leather maker's case. CONDITION: Barrels retain 99% blue and are bright. The frame and locks are excellent. Stock and forend are excellent with minor storage marks. Excellent game gun. CP
