Instantly recognizable classic configuration of the Colt Gold Cup National Match with Elliason adjustable rear sight, serrated sighting rib, smooth front sight, serrated small parts, narrow hammer, skeletonized adjustable trigger, flat mainspring housing. Fully checkered walnut grips with golden Colt medallions. Appropriate rollmarks for this model. Housed in the correct Colt woodgrain box identifying this gun by serial number and identifying it as a Custom Gun Shop with electroless nickel finish. Polished flats. Box has Colt green manual and a bushing wrench. CONDITION: Excellent, with a few extremely minor marks. Right side of the trigger guard and mainspring housing spring have very minor spotting. It is worth noting that electroless nickel frequently develops an off-yellow oil-stained color, but this example is bright and shiny. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is excellent with strong rifling. Styrofoam contained is excellent with expected staining and losses; box is very good, complete, with expected rubs and peeling. This is a really great example. EW
