Lot consists of cased matched set of "1 OF 1000" commemorative Winchester 1894 and 9422 lever action rifles. (A) Winchester Model 94 lever action rifle. Made 1979 as a matched set, with the serial number being the same (minus the prefix) as gun B in the lot. 24" round, steel barrel with "Matched Set of One Thousand" engraved on the right side of the barrel. Buckhorn rear and blade front sight. Gold plated frame and band, with engraved game scenes on both sides of the frames. Gloss finished wood stocks with checkering on the wrist and forearm. Blued steel metal butt plate. In fitted wood case with gun B in this lot. Case is velvet lined and includes a key. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish with a few handling marks and scratches. Wood is excellent overall. Bore is clean with sharp rifling. Mechanically excellent. Looks to be unfired from the factory. Case has some exterior handling marks and scratches. (B) Winchester Model 9422 lever action rifle. Made 1979 as a matched set, with the serial number being the same (minus the prefix) as gun A in the lot. 20" round, steel barrel with "Matched Set of One Thousand" engraved on the right side of the barrel. Buckhorn rear and blade front sight. Gold plated frame and band, with engraved game scenes on both sides of the frames. Gloss finished wood stocks with checkering on the wrist and forearm.
