A beautiful rounded frame with 29" monobloc barrels, front and mid sight beads on file cut rib with light floral engraving at breech and bloc. Barrels have been professionally converted to accept "Rhino" branded choke tubes and wire cut with porting. Current chokes are Skeet and Light modified. Barrel flats with appropriate Italian proofs for 2004 manufacture, 20 gauge with 3" chambers, and nitro proofs. Barrels with IBD proofs and appropriate barrel proofing. Forearm checkered win a wave pattern with central pull button release. Exterior iron and release engraved in a well-cut floral scroll on a blackened stippled ground. Round body Excalibur action engraved with more well-cut floral scroll on blacked stippled ground. Both sides with "ABBIATICO & SALVINELLI" in ribbons, bottom of action with "EXCALIBUR ROUND" in ribbon. Single, non-selective inertia trigger, with signature "D. BONSI" on right side of trigger guard. Action with gold inlay serial number, A&S signature, with Italian nitro proofs. Non-automatic safety with "SAFE" inlaid in gold. Nice fully figured European walnut stock with round knob grip, which is checkered in a wave-and-point pattern. Stock is completed by a soft black Kick-EEZ pad. CONDITION: Very good as field used. Barrels retain the vast majority of their blackening with some minor marks, more silvering where the forearm makes contact. Forearm is very good with some impressions and dings from the field, but no cracks or chips. Action is very good, with some darkening of the finish most visible at the tang, but cut engraving is still quite crisp. Stock is very good with no cracks or chips but numerous bumps and bruises from the field, with one particular area of rash on left side of comb. Pad is soft and pliable. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bores are very good with some light evidence of use. Ejectors are very slightly out of time, with top ejector firing first. Case is very good, with code currently set to 282. EW
